Renovation to expand Changi Airport Terminal 2’s capacity will begin in the last quarter of this year. The facelift includes the departure hall, which will have a new layout of check-in counters, and automated check-il kiosks and bag drop machines.

The works will take four to five years to complete, and will boost Changi Airport’s total handling capacity by up to five million passengers a year to about 90 milion.
